  The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The "included" breakfast was the best we had during our European holiday! Our purpose in staying in Bastogne was to tour the Battle of the Bulge sights. I highly recommend Henri Mignon as a travel guide.   Good location, clean room, good service (i.e. tidied on return each evening), practical and clean bathroom and shower. No comments above about staff and facilities because neither existed as such, although the support from Le Sanglier was fine (e.g. they provided a place for us to keep our bicycles) - Very friendly staff, fantastic restaurant.   Southern hospitality combined with Northern professionalism - what else can one want? We very much enjoyed staying at this excellent B&B - the room was very clean, the neighbourhood is beautiful and so peaceful (one can hear the the river flowing), there is a beautiful garden plus parking space, and - last but not least - the breakfast is real... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ly hearty, composed of local produce (goat cheese, blueberry yoghourt, marmelades and jams - all home -made). - we enjoyed breakfast, which was delightful, with fresh orange squash, and many home-made products such as jam, goat cheese, yoghurt and a wide choice of croissants.   Gorgeous house and garden with welcoming hosts in an idyllic town. Dan spoke English and had a welcome drink waiting for me from the famous local Trappist brewery (Rochefort). Rooms were classic, modern, and functional. Breakfast was good and plentiful with a sampling of some local specialties from the bakery along with eggs and ham. Would recommend and hope to com - The chateau beautifully complemented the local church in the centre of the village, which is nestled romantically between undulating hills. Enjoyed a friendly welcome chat with the owners while being warmed in front of an open fire, sipping a glass of red wine and, admiring the restored classic elegance of the decor. Fantastic restaurant just across the way served hearty food and wine and was an easy stroll back to our room to enjoy a moment of repose. Simply delightful.
