The Ariane is a beautiful hotel we could not fault anything about our stay, in fact we have booked to return next year. We stayed in a family room which was very spacious. We traveled with our teenage daughters who are studying WW1 at school and they feel the trip has helped them with their studies. The location which offers free parking is ideal

The greeting we received when we arrived was very welcoming - this 'set the scene' for our experience of the hotel. We had hired a car for our exploration of the area, so were very glad that there was plenty of parking space. The room was spacious and very clean. It was a very easy walk to Menin Gate and to the town itself! We have been traveling around Europe for a month & stayed in many hotels - the Hotel Ariane was one of the best. Nothing was to much trouble. looking forward to see what the do with the Hotel O their plans sound exciting. the location is just of the main square so you don't have far to travel to the key sites. we love Ypre and everything it has to offer and this hotel is central for all of it. -

Central location in Ypres. Clean, simple, comfortable, functional rooms
with excellent shower. Breakfast was continental, boil your own eggs,
cereals, juice, cold meats and cheese with fresh bread and each table
had its own bowl of fresh bread rolls and pastries. Very nice and as
substantial as you want it to be. There was a bar area but so close to
the town centre there are many restaurants and bars to spend time in so
I never saw anyone using it although it was possible. Also no evening

Marc and Sonja are a very friendly couple and nothing is too much
trouble to make your stay enjoyable. We had a problem with our car
during our stay and they helped us tremendously - making phone calls to
garages, driving us to collect the car and lending us bikes to use.

Sat nav co-ordinates worked perfect to reach B & B. I had informed of a very early arrival to Sonia, owner and if we could leave our bags and use a loo etc. She was brilliant and as the room was available she had got it ready as we arrived at 09 30 hrs. Mark* her husband spent quite some time with us to outline numerous places of interest concerned with WW1 fields and wrote down a detailed list of proposed sights to view. they were both very welcoming and made us feel easy to move around. We stayed at Menin Gate House for 4 nights and could not believe how
amazing this place is, Benny meet us on the first night and gave us
prime position during the Menin Gate service and it was something we
will never forget. We ddid nearly all of the battlefields and memorials
and they are all so handy from this location. The rooms are decorated in
honour of our troops that paid the ultimate sacrifice and its people
like Benny that will never let anyone forget. I can highly recommend
this place
