A remarkable hotel experience. From the outside, the building is a work of art. Inside, the hotel is modern, but very quirky. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were enormous, with complementary local mineral water and very comfy beds. The location is excellent, not far from Klagenfurt and close to the Carinthian castles. Check out until 11am or 12 upon request - fantastic for those who want to have a lie in after a few too many... The hotel is seriously good value for money.

The rooms are big enough, clean, without street noise, free car parking. We are surprised to have a free access to the public swimming pool, very nice place. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and will recomended. Only as notice: the most important place to visit in Karintien (Klagenfurt, Woertersee, Minimundus etc) are 18-20 km far away. This hotel was very interesting and a great place to stay. The staff was very helpful, the room was nice, the décor was so unusual on the outside, and the breakfast was wonderful. The town, however, is dead at night, especially in the rain, and we couldn't even find a place to eat at 8:00 at night. We ended up ordering pizza and ate in the room - the front desk was very helpful with that, as we didn't speak the language or know where to order from. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The rooms are quite big and clean. The center of the old city is very near. The hotel staff is speaking other languages than english and german which is a great help for foreign seniors that have less knoledge of those two languages and are accomodated at this hotel. (e.g. romanian). It is very unusual hotel, the simbol of st.veit, with good structure, clean, near the center, it is possible to park a car inside close parking, the hostess is very friendly, the room is hot (in winter). Very good price-quality relationship. The hotel offers an exceptional quality level for its price. Sankt Veit was also a pleasant discovery and you are close to a lot of nice places and lakes. If you stay in Karnten; an absolute warm advice to choose this hotel. The Fuchspalast is a very comfortable hotel in the city of St. Veit. It has convient parking next to the hotel and convient self check in. The breakfast is good. All in all a nice place to stay for a weekend. Very good value for money. Location in beautiful town. Very supportive staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. And last but not least amazing design!. Everything was OK. We used the hotel only for transit, but it was a pleasent hotel in center of St. Veit an der Glan for a good price. Surprisingly and really amazing. None, I really can't fault this hotel at all. The wireless connection wasn`t powerfull enough in the room, so in case you need to navigate on internet it might be a problem. no internet in the room, to free wifi connection you should go to special room on the floor, also the cost of breakfast is high (9euro), so we went to have a breakfast in the center of st.veit. Nothing, really. Breakfast is a little overpriced. Nothing. No aircon so sleep very difficult to achieve on hot stifling nights. Entry cards kept demagnetising.
