  Quiet location and good sized rooms. Well lit and good sized bathroom. Restaurant and bar facilities were enjoyable but menu was restricted to having a 3 course meal with no cheaper option available.

Staff was very friendly, letting us check in early and changing booking at very short notice when one of our party could not come, and giving us good advice for walks and outings.
