  The staff (or family in this case) was so nice and accomodating that Iwould definitely stay here again. It's a pretty easy walk to the hotelfrom the main train station, although I get lost usually my first timein every new city. Area seems safe despite some "adult-based" shops thatAmericans may equate with a bad neighborhood, which it is not.   We had a lovely large triple room, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, warm and comfy, lovely large bathroom, great breakfast, within easy walking distance of the centre of Salzburg and 2 minutes to the train station, unassuming and friendly multi-lingual staff, fast checkout. Even the kitchen staff was great. The breakfast was good (but get there early to get a taste of everything). The room was very nice and clean. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go from the hotel.
