The restaurant of the hotel, though we didn't have the chance to test it apart of breakfast, is excellent. But remember, on Sundays, most shops are closed in Salzburg. The main train station is definitely walking distance. Currently there is construction going on, so to handle luggage down and up stairs can be a challenge.
