  I sort of fell into the Holzerwirt after a B&B that I had booked did not work out. I booked for one night but stayed an extra night because it was so lovely. Big, comfortable single room in a location in an old stone building it felt like I had air conditioning, which was great because it was brutal hot. I will be back! - This was a wonderful hotel. We booked this hotel at the last minute and only stayed one night because of our schedule, but would have stayed longer if we could. The staff was extremely helpful getting us directions to the places we wanted to go, and the food was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

  The incredibly friendly lady who ran the place (sorry can't remember her name!). She couldn't do enough for us and she made our stay very enjoyable. The location was good, not right in Salzburg so you needed to take public transport to get in and out, but bus 4 runs right in and the stop is only a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is located at a very convenient region, where Mirabell is reachable in 10 min by bus, bank and super market are in 5 min walking distance. The room is decorated in a comfortable home style. Facilities are good and handy, with a fully equipped kitchen. The boss is really nice and helpful.

  Forested hill location overlooking Salzburg (not from the apartment). Good service from the owner/family. Apartment was large and reasonably well appointed, with pots/pans on request. Restaurant dinner meals were excellent and good value ( we did not have breakfast). Wifi was adequate. - Fantastic location, great service, rooms very spacious.... mitä ihmiset sanovat » The food was great too. Staff made you very welcome and would recommend this to all travellers, it would have been great for a longer stay. If I am ever back this way I would make sure I stayed there again.
