While the building is aging, enormous effort is put into cleanliness, presentation and updates as required. The BBQ area was delightful and Kathy & Pete made us very welcome. We were not deprived of our normal standards and felt at home!. Well positioned, easily accessible despite the amount of traffic at the time. Being elderly the ground floor (room 11) was just perfect. Great country air. Friendly helpful staff immediately on arrival.
kaikki arvostelut » It is an older style motel, but it was clean, neat and tidy. Rooms are kept very clean, as are the grounds around the premises. Definitely be staying there again - for sure. The friendliness of the owner. He could not have made our stay more pleasant. He advised of an aalternate route to our meeting venue,so we missed the range traffic. the extremely helpful staff, they had knowledge of the area and could answer all our questions. a very nice centre which lived up to our expectations. The staff is very helpful,she gave me some quite useful information.as it was my first time to go to Toowoomba. I loved this motel. although it maybe needed tlc it did not effect the stay it was clean and cosy and felt pleasant which is all that is required. This motel is very nice and goods for small family. Completed facility as we unexpected to get if compared with others. we stayed in a family unit which was very large area compared to other family units., Easy to locate and quiet location. Friendly staff. 1 hour free wifi. Comfortable bed. Clean. Nice BBQ area with lots of trees. Friendly and helpful staff, rooms very clean, more amenities than higher priced motels. Hosts were friendly and helpful with advice re directions, etc. Room was very comfy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Close to all of Toowoomba's facilities. The location was a little difficult to find due to the crossing over of a highway prior to its decent down the mountain road. the road works leading into Toowoomba that held the traffic up for such long periods of time. that was no reflection on the Coachman inn or its staff. Everything is good,other than that it would take about 30 minites to walk to the centre of Toowoomba. Nothing. Was a fair way from town. Access was a bit tricky off Hwy but not too bad. Much traffic on Hwy but Aircon. muffled most noise. Would have liked a basin in kitchen area. Nothing to dislike. nothing at all. All good. No fly screen on the back door. No air-conditioning. Could only stay one night. My pillow was to hard. :). Nothing, everything was great. Nearby road VERY busy, but with windows shut, it was quiet inside. Pillows were too hard. Bedside lamp was not working. All good!. Traffic noise could be an issue if you wanted doors left open. the shower curtain and unable to open curtains due to lack of privacy especially when people are at the barbeque. Smokers smoking outside of non smoking rooms. room size. asked for two beds and got a double. noise from trucks. light outside room window. Hot water took long time to come Through. Pillows. when I arrived I asked if I could buy some milk for breakfast..answer.no we only have the uhf milk .. could I buy some extra.. no you have 6 in the room that is it. ok went up unpacked and thought I would ask again.. answer was no.. but then she said oh okay I will drop 2 extra for you. About 8pm nothing had happened. The staff took exception to being asked a simple request for 2 clean extra towels. Our fellow traveller asked for a face washer and was told they aren't normally supplied to budget rooms. It wasn't appreciated that staff arrived to make up the room when we were still getting ready for the day and we had to make way instead of staff coming back as suggested. poor lighting at front of motel shower hot water inconsistant. Outside needed a good clean. Window beside air con. was filthy. Not very clean. The smell of the room (cockroach spray or something) Colour of the sheets (hiding stains...?) Dirty blanket (hair embedded in it) Uncomfortable pillows. Cleanliness of Bathroom, smelly Stairs and Walkways need some attention. The linen / manchester in the unit was so old it came out of Noah's post-apocolyptic "I don't need my arl anymore, the flood is over" sale. Also, they're trying to blame me for a scratch in a cupboard. To make it worse, they tried to ring & hassle me about it while I was at a funeral, which they new full well I was at. It was an incredibly poor, distasteful, & disgusting thing to do.
