Smoky Cape Retreat is situated in Arakoon, between the Smoky Cape Lighthouse and the Historic Trial Bay Gaol. It is a short 5-hour drive from both Sydney and the Gold Coast, offering an ideal half-way stop.
Each suite has a flat-screen TV, heating and refrigerator. Two of the suites have a 2-person spa bath that looks onto a private courtyard, while the other suite features a separate lounge area and an en suite bathroom with shower over the bath.
The on-site Smoky Cape Café serves breakfast, coffee with cake, and lunch. Breakfast options include cereal, yoghurt, raisin toast, pancakes, bacon and eggs. The lunch menu includes pies, salads, soup and burgers.

The friendly hosts were always helpful and so nice, nothing was a problem for them. Really liked the location and grounds, so relaxing and calming. The accomodation was clean and very nice, loved the spa and comfy big bed. Also, the breakfasts were generous and yum!. Will definitely return.....
my stay was more than i expected the room was amazing the spar bath was so relaxing and omg the sheets on my bed were so luxuirious .the owners mary and her huband were very hospitable and i will be going back for a longer stay you just dont want to leave. kaikki arvostelut »
Large rooms, comfortable furnishings (and nice attention to detail for the bathroom supplies.) Beautiful quiet location and friendly and helpful staff.

Probably a nice place 50 yrs ago but it's time to change some of the furniture and lighting at least and it may not be necessary but some people like doors that lock.
