Fairways is a 10-minute drive from Peninsula Hot Springs and The Enchanted Maze Garden. Within a 30-minute drive away are Point Nepean National Park and Ashcombe Maze & Lavender Gardens.

Rooms clean and well appointed rooms serviced daily to very good standard check was outside of hours but staff had in all in hand our room had heater and light on for our late arrival will definitely stay again super quiet so can sleep well and beds comfy. Friendly staff upon arrival. Clean rooms ready for guests. Easy access to the Rosebud Country Club for drinks & their freindly atmosphere. Quiet almost serene surroundings.

Nice bathroom with all the necessities. Comfortable. In a quiet area. The rooms were spacious, modern & very clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. Overall, a great place. Really fast efficient service.good location .clean and spacious room. Quiet at night . no issues with noise. Cleanliness was fantastic. Staff were great! Very comfortable and spacious room. There could have been a view of some sort instead of just a wooden fence in the courtyard. There was nothing I didn't like about this place. No cutlery or plates (nit picking though). Nothing. Nothing. dvd player needs updating did not work for us tried 2 players no microwave we could have requested one I thought there should been one in the room for price we paid. Could not find a router for internet in our room, could not get another router from another room so no internet offered. wanted a late check but had to organise that in the morning, manager was grumpy about it and could not get in touch with staff on the phone had to get out of bed and organise it when we could have done that when we checked in. Slight water pipe noise. No views, felt a bit closed in - unfortunately didn't have time to check out the facilities. Was a little pricey for basic room. There was a bit of confusion with my booking as I thought I was staying in a room with the spa as that is what was in the images. But turned out I only had the king suite. Staff were helpful and provided us with continental breakfast. Having to leave and go back to work. My gps couldn't pick up the correct location so we had to drive around, we found the sign on the main road didn't have "fairways resort" on it (that we could find). The fact that the shower head wasn't fixed. It was loose & about to fall down. I did discuss the issue on the 2nd day & still wasn't fixed at the end of my stay. (5 days). Dripping tap Bit expensive. The design Lounge very dark. Bathroom set up basin out side of main room not convenient shower room no shelf. no seat to work at the computer and awkward to sit at a cupboard to work. Price was too high for a motel room. No kettle in room although all the other makings of a coffee were there. Only 2 towels when 3 of us stayed...not good enough. Lack of food preparation facilities eg microwave, sink. The heater in our room did not work. When I did the booking there was no indication that it was motel accomodationion. No problem but was surprised when we arrived. No good advertising. The restaurant of the country club refused to serve us because we did not booked! It is part of the complex, a bit odd when your are staying in. A bit remote unless you're playing golf at the country club. The so-called courtyard garden was a small fenced off area with no view , plants or character at all. not very easy to find. Too expensive for what it is.. Not sure if I would call it a resort with no pool and just basic facilities. Needs more personality, even a bit of landscaping would help!. The reason for our stay was to have quiet and relaxing time. On our first day, we couldn't go to sleep due to loud partying of other occupants next to our room, This went on to 1.30 in the morning. Not happy at all. If we ever stay again in this resort it most definitely wont be in rooms above number 10 . Insufficient breakfast. Very basic bed and furnishing. Bathroom was designed only for disabled persons and did not have even a shelf to put cosmetics, razor etc. Main room was spartan with its furniture. Booking did not indicate the nature of the room nor did the staff when i rang to arrange a late arrival. Owners attitude when the bathroom shortcomings were pointed out was 'suck it up'. the key issue here is advising people that this is not the sort of standard room they would expect. Dark rooms Noisy neighbours Overpriced Mis matched furniture Uninviting patio Staff attitudes left a lot to be desired.
