  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Argus apartments. The staff couldn't do enough for you, the apartments were well appointed, clean, modern and spacious. They are a 10 minute walk to the Waterfront precinct one way and 10 minutes the other direction to the city and buses, perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable. We asked only for a cot/crib and they also left a highchair which was a nice touch. Will definitely be back to visit.

From the moment we entered Doubletree we were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff, our room was lovely [probably spoilt us for all hotels and motels in the future], and our week-long stay filled with nothing but positives. - Great location.   Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were also great and I like that the place was surrounded with lots of trees and gardens so that staying there was very relaxing and laid back - very similar to the Darwin vibe.   Majority of staff were friendly and helpful. I requested a cot for my 6 month old daughter upon booking the room and it wast forgotten about (most hotels forget this). Valet parking was excellent and staff were available and helpful when i needed an extra hand to put pram and baby in the car. Very comfortable and felt welcome.   We've stayed there a few times - some for work and some personal. We have enjoyed the facilities/wining and dining and always found staff more than helpful. We have spent time in the pool which is welcoming and clean. LOVE the new block and especially the art in the new block.   Excellent location. Friendly, accomodating and professional staff. Did not have many of the negative experiences others have mentioned on this site (E.G. dirty water, unclean rooms etc.).   It was in a good position and easy to get to places we wanted to see.Our first time to Darwin and we loved it. The only drawback is that the accommodation is too expensive. - We found the staff very friendly & helpful and the facilities nice and clean. We also found the location very good for eating & viewing attractions around town

  We had 2 days in a unit with an excellent view of Stokes Hill wharf, and 1 day in a 'city view' room, which was significantly smaller, but still very acceptable. Only a 10 minute walk to the city centre, but there was a lot of facilities (tourism, eating) nearby. - The rooms were large and very clean. We reported the problem the next morning and it was fixed within a couple of hours.
