  I liked the ground floor gardens and plants. A credit to the owner who I spoke to. I also enjoyed the breakfasts and it was of very high standard. The motel is an older one which was built in 1985. However the room was lovely and comfortable and the bed was excellent. All in all I was most pleased.   Terry the owner manager was more than helpful and even insisted I park my Harley Davidson in his lock up garage overnight. The free breakfast was as good as it gets and plentiful. I regret that I didn't have dinner in his restaurant there the night I arrived. When I asked Terry for directions he went to his office and returned with a print out from his comp - Friendly and helpful owners providing us with an immaculate well equiped room on the first floor overlooking the river with an extensive view. Evening meal available in the Pelican Restaurant which was freshly cooked and good value,a good breakfast also provided and included in the room cost . Thoroughly recommended.
