  My favourite hostel where I always stay in Sydney, probably stayed there for 2 months in total. Location is perfect, staff is friendly, rooms are good and clean in general. Scary Canary is downstares and that is one awesome bar! Always make some great friends when staying at X Base! - Base Sydney is the best! I went to this backpackers twice.   The hotel staff were extremely friendly. The location was really good and if you're feeling super lazy you can pay 44 dollars for a week long pass for all the public transport in the city centre.   I usually stay here when I visit Sydney. It's right in the heart of the CBD and very cheap.   We were two young female backpackers and it was an experience we will never forget....We liked the staff (pretty sure seeing them all dressed like girls was probably why haha)...when we first arrived they offered us free goon....mmmm...played some games ;p had a night out on the town :) they showed us where to get pizza...great atmosphere... Soraya at reception was especially helpful and went out of her way to keep family in one room after I changed booking at the last minute. Awesome location, next to central railway and monorail.

  I like very much this backpackers. It is located near from several tourist places of city as Opera House and Botanic gardens Walk. This backpackers is very safe, therefore I recommend widely. - Love how everyone was so social compared to other backpackers that i've been too. Dave was a great entertainment liaison!

  comfortable and casual staff. Although the port macquaire is a small town to do and travel tips had invented a lot. We enjoyed our stay very well for three nights. we can recommend. be sure to greet the parrot! - The accommodation was out of this world. I would recommend this to anyone.

  This is indeed a funky little place, loved the paintings on the walls and doors, the atmosphere there with rooftop parties in King Cross intense nightlife area. About 20minutes walk from thr Queen's gardens and the Opera House, 30mins from the piers and city center. - People where friendly.   The staff who worked Monday night was very helpful, friendly and professional. I was impressed when she asked everyone to make sure they clean their own mess up in the kitchen! When I needed to borrow a towel, that was no problem... The location near central station and the airport is excellent. The shower and bathroom facilities were clean. Our clean twin room had tiled ensuite, fridge, TV & aircon. We just had to walk down through a park (tennis courts & pool) & were at Central Stn, the hub for all transport. Although it was on a major road our room was pretty quiet. Staff organised shuttle to the airport which was $12 door to door whereas train to / from Central $15! Excellent pub & other eateries nearby.

  The value cost of the hotel it cheap and it alot closer to King Cross Station which it great for me so will come again. - All good.
