  Set back from the street in a nice quiet location in a cul de sac so there was no passing traffic. We stayed in the Tuscan room which although it was the smallest was quite adequate. There was a couple of lounge areas where you could sit by the fire chatting during the evening, watch TV or curl up with a book. Breakfast prepared by Graeme (who is a cook) was very nice - Very welcomeing, friendly, it was like you were staying in someone's house. Our host Graeme was helpful and hospitable and cooks a yummy breakfast. We came in on cold night to a warm cosy room. There was also a fire in the lounge room if you wished to sit there. We found our room comfortaleble and stayed there with a glass of wine.The first 1st photos is of the room we stayed in, so I know them to be true.

  The hosts Marilyn and Peter greeted us warmly and made sure that any needs we had were attended to. The location of Ophir Gold B and B is peaceful and inviting and the facilities are very well appointed. We would not hesitate to stay there again if visiting Orange.   We were quite impressed with this B&B. First the view was quite nice, up and overlooking some nice landscape. Second we were nicely greeted by one of the owners and their friendly pets. Our room was neat, tidy, comfy, and had all conveniences. My husband loved playing on the championship-size pool table while I used the wifi for some misc work... mitä ihmiset sanovat » . Breakfast was good and made to our desires. There were many dvd options to play in the room. We recommend this location to others looking for a rela - Unfortunately my wife and I only stayed one night with Rhonda and Claudio who were excellent hosts who ensured our stay was memorable and of high quality. Beautiful rooms, great dining room and choice of food and friendly atmosphere. Lovely quiet location on top of the hill. Would rate as 6 Star accommodation and recommend to all travellers staying in Bateman's Bay.
