  The room had 12 power outlets! 12! and 4 of them were either side of the bed. The Air con was new and worked brilliantly. The room was ver spacious which was great when it is raining and you have kids. There are deer which were just a lovely touch for the kids. There is a heated pool and spa which were very well kept.   I liked that the Metropole is in the middle of town and is close to the railway station for those without a car. I liked the historic building with its lovely old, but well maintained structures, including the walkway from the back carpark to reception. Hotel was old school setting as well as modern which was great. I will be staying again later this year and will recommend this hotel to everyone going to the blue mountains.

  The friendly welcome when we arrived. The quality of the meals in the Restaurant. Although it is on the Highway, we did not hear any traffic.   Beer at the Brewery was excellent and the tour guide (Billie) was delightful. Room was nice/ clean but not great. I did appreciate the guest laundry although it could do with some updating. The hot tub was luke warm and the pool cold. Dinner at the hotel was excellent; it provided lots of great variety and was fairly priced.
