The peace, especially poolside as no children are allowed as guests.
We have never stayed in Macrossan St on our previous 6 visits to Port as thought it would be noisy. Not so and an ideal location to walk to everywhere we wanted to go.

The Outrigger Apartments were very well located for both the town of Port Douglas and the beach. The living area in our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and well equipped and the apartment itself was all that we needed for our stay. The Owner /Managers were very helpful and welcoming. Pip and Trevor were very welcoming, the pubs, restaurants, and shops are right there at the front door step. It was a great place to stay with all the facilities you need. No need to have a car because you can walk every where.!! -

Clean, comfortable, large accommodation, it was great to unpack and cook your own meals if you want to. A nice easy pretty walk into town, bikes available for free use. The owners were just the friendliest, loveliest people we have met, maybe because they are New Zealanders!! -

Beautiful two bedroom apartment with large living area, and good kitchen and laundry. Soft beds big bathtubs. 4km from the city centre which made it quiet. Staff were great. Lovely tropical retreat atmosphere with bird song being the only "noise". Very welcoming and helpful friendly reception staff. Lovely pool in natural rock setting. Only slight drawback is the 6 minute ride into Port Douglas centre but this is more than offset by the tranquility and lush surrounbings of the resort.

All the staff were fantastic, from the concierge and receptionist to the bar and restaurant staff. They were friendly, approachable, helpful & enthusiastic.
The resort was very clean and pretty with lovely gardens and ponds throughout.
The pool was the perfect temperature. Plenty of sun loungers and day beds. Swim up pool bar was a bonus.
