  The Outrigger Apartments were very well located for both the town of Port Douglas and the beach. The living area in our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and well equipped and the apartment itself was all that we needed for our stay. The Owner /Managers were very helpful and welcoming.   Clean, comfortable, large accommodation, it was great to unpack and cook your own meals if you want to. A nice easy pretty walk into town, bikes available for free use. The owners were just the friendliest, loveliest people we have met, maybe because they are New Zealanders!! - The owner Jim was very obliging and helpful.   Jakob was fantastic, so helpful with information on the area, and he even negotiated a discount for our snorkelling tour on the reef for us. The rooms were basic but fantastic value for money and extremely clean. The location could not have been any better, we were walking distance from everything. The pool was clean and great to have as an option if the beach was windy or rough. We also loved the fre - It's a very quiet yet convenient location in relation to the main street and businesses of town, clean and well cared for. Jakob is an excellent host with a plethora of knowledge of the region and the services available to visitors; he helped to make our stay a memorable and pleasant week. We highly recommend the Palm Villas!

The staff are very friendly and recommended and booked days out for us. Would defiantly stay again. Port Douglas is a relaxed small town with great bars and resteraunts and good shopping.and the accommodation is in easy walking distance. The beach is a 5 minute walk.

  There was an initial problem as I booked a twin room but got a double, for the first night the staff gave me an extra room for no extra cost, then stated that if I found another hotel, they would refund the difference, however, the staff realised that they had made a mistake and gave me the extra room for the rest of my stay at no extra cost, also... mitä ihmiset sanovat » I had to vacate the room at 10am, but my transfer was not until 4pm, the staff let me keep the room for the extra time for no extra cost, the rooms w - We stayed in a very nice, clean king bedroom with a great colour scheme. There is a small en-suite and comfy bed. A map of Port Douglas at reception. Free internet on provided ipad. Great customer service - reception is a phone, I called them twice and we waited 10mins. Lady came and apologised and gave us our keys, then the owner came and knocked on the door and apologised profusely with a bottle. Brilliant location. Would definitely stay again.

The property was not a massive resort and was well secure.
