The location is excellent for the glouchester tree - we walked from the motel into the national park which was a nice stroll along quiet roads and then into the park. Very clean with a good size room with plenty of parking outside the chalet door. We were room 4 and looked onto the road (quiet) the deluxe rooms look into the complex - we still took out the table and chairs from the room and had breakfast al fresco The motel has a nice restaurant and guests get 10% off the bill - it is comparab.
kaikki arvostelut » The owner, Joe and his team went the extra mile to ensure that our two night stay in room 13 was great! Their attention to detail is what stood out for us, plus everything in the room worked and it was immaculately clean. So much better than some of the other places we've stayed in WA in the last 3 weeks. The restaurant is also fantastic, great food and service - we can recommend the Thai chicken and the fillet steak - we wished we could have stayed longer and would definitely return in future. Spotlessly clean older style budget accommodation, friendly staff, great food (room service of fillet mignon & giant beef-burger/salad in a damper bun; doesn't get more Aussie than that!) The owner brought us extra blankets & complimentary glass of local red to boot. Clean and large room bed was great nice and firm staff were top not food was great shower was nice and hot very quite good parking lots of trees and flowers all around the Motel was so peaceful will be back. The room was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the food was great. All the service was excellent, the staff were very friendly. It was beautiful placed to stay, clean tidy welcoming great value even enjoyed the restaurant. Would deff recommend to stay there. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Very quiet as away from main part of Pemberton but still accessible to everything. Setting, good hot water, nice porch option of non smoking room, the tv worked, the place looked and smelt clean. Lovely well kept gardens with lots of greenery and flowers. Made you feel very relaxed in this quiet location. The room was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant attached to the motel served great food. Where it was situated - river and forest. Just out of the busy town area. Easy access to walking paths. Clean room. Good bed. Nice porch with view on grass and pool. Very good restaurant on the grounds. restaurant was good. although facilities were very dated they were clean and comfortalbe. Big rooms and beautiful surroundings. Very relaxing atmosphere with all the mod cons. Very Freindly operator and excellent chef cook. loved the freindly cats also. I liked the location of the place and was easy to get to after a long drive. Restaurant , friendly staff, helpful advice, nice friendly manager/owner. Excellent value for money, comfortable, helpful and friendly staff. I liked the Manager and the young lady who cooked super meals. Reasonable for a stopover. Did not have any food there. Room overlooked pretty pool area. The food in the restaurant was great. Clean room. Quite ... Beds Comfortable Friendly Cat .. It was cheap. Not much else. Tea and coffee. Price. Not much, very old need total upgrade. Nothing. As it was off season there was no one in reception when we arrived or left and we had to hunt around/call to get the key. We had a small "kitchenette" but no cutlery or microwave - there was a toaster and kettle with plates and cups. Not applicable as there wasn't anything we didn't like. Tourists destroying WA tourism! The repeated & petty bargaining of other guests for free room upgrades, then trying to beat down the owner by demanding breakfast is included too. I'm Australian & the Aussie tourists were the worst- an embarrassment. Budget accommodation @ near backpacker rates; nothing satisfied them! No wonder we saw countless for sale signs out front of chalets & farm stays in the region. all good. The air conditioner was very noisy. A bit noisy between rooms!!!. The power in our room went off at 7.30 ( I suspect the toaster tripped the switch)and we didn't have time to wait for it to be put back on so we could boil the kettle. The whole office area was all firmly locked up when I went down to report this at 8.30 so I had to leave a note before going out. 10 am check out is a bit early for a south west motel, I get 12 mid day in Melbourne, had to pay extra for a late check out. It really has nothing to do with the hotel, but many stores and cafés in the area close up before 5 so be sure to plan ahead. The noise from the water pipes when other units were using the showers. The smallness of the bathroom - you could not dry/dress yourself in it. Wifi only near reception. No breakfast option. facilities were dated and need an upgrade. Nothing. nothing,. nothing. The fact that our beds were only just pulled up. Overpriced and no foxtel. Cleanliness was a bit below average- there were quite a few cobwebs around the top of wall/ ceiling. But then being tall & having worked in hospitality myself may make me more prone to noticing such things. Cooking facilities, perhaps to include an additional sink. Advertised wifi available in rooms and it was not. It was also not free at $6/hr which relates to $144/ day. Cannot be more misrepresented than that. We booked the motel on the basis that wifi was available in the room.Very disappointing. Heating was not good enough to get the room to a comfortable temperature and there are no electric blankets on the bed. Could go on, but will probably not influence owners to make improvements. Old Noisy Fridge .. Old Rusty A/C Comprossor next to front door .. Noisy. Little Run-down ... Very basic for the Money. They do not have free WiFi despite their claims. WiFi is free directly outside the lobby/restaurant NOT in the rooms themselves. And they claim this is not false advertising. Also, they claim they do not charge your credit card beforehand. This is also a lie- mine was charged prior to arrival. The TV had maybe 2 channels... if that. I would definitely pay $100 or so more to stay in a place that was nicer and not dishonest and manipulative in its advertisement. The insects that apparently are part of living near the bush.in the bush ants are is fine,,in the rooms,,i don't think so,,their restuarant was closed on a saturday night,,,the advice given as to where to eat in Pemberton was not acurate,,we walked out of the recomended one and found a great one called Sadies,,,wish we had gone there first.......bbq area was covered in ants,,could not stand still to cook a meal. Needs maintenamnce, pretty tied. Food in restaurant was disappointing. Seemed to be a case of quantity over quality. Blinds in the room need a clean. The gas heater leaked gas into our room making it very unpleasant. There is not much to commend this Motel as it is dated and in need of a lot of love and attention. Just ok for an overnight stay but would have preferred to spend the money elsewhere!. Everything, awful place, not clean , nothing modern , out dated TV with no reception. Over priced. The bed was terrible. The decor was very dated. The room service food was terrible. I want my money back. Long uphill walk from town No hot water Restaurant was closed Would not take Amex as stated.
