Southern Vales is on 2 acres with some vineyards and farmland beyond that with sheep grazing which gives it a peaceful place to stay with no traffic noise at all! I actually woke up to birdsong which was lovely! Alan served us a delicious breakfast of bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms which was included, in his outside gazebo which was delightful! He made us very welcome! The room was very clean, which was smaller than some but the thick fuffy towels and big shower made up for it!.
kaikki arvostelut » Carol and Alan were perfect hosts who made our stay just wonderful. The facility was clean, roomy, very pretty and comfortable and so relaxing. We were made to feel very special and were certainly looked after. The house is just beautiful and and so peaceful. Carol has some wonderful artistic pieces that she herself has painted and Alan`s breakfasts are just fabulous. We had a great time. My brother and I stayed there last Tuesday. Comfortable beds, and a lovely, cared for B&B.The countryside location is inspiring and relaxing. Our hosts were very friendly and inviting, nothing was too much trouble for them. Allan cooked a great breakfast to get us off to a good start, and provided maps to help us. Thank you. I loved the olde world charm of our bedroom decor with ensuite;cosy living room with wood fire; being welcomed like old friends; being waited on with a beautifully cooked hot breakfast. Privacy given. Liked the country feel & hospitality. The host was very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. He had good local knowledge. Cooked breakfast to your liking each morning. B&B is within walking distance to the main street and local cafes and restaurants. Everything. Very comfortable. Our hosts very friendly and attentive. Alan chatting to us and other guests in front of the log fire. Good advice for the onward road journey. Quiet. Reminded us of B&B in uk. Alan is so friendly and helpful always with a smile on his face. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet. Great value for money and convenient location. I loved that they were so accommodating even though I could not check in until very late. It was wonderful to have the door left open and the light on waiting for me!. Loved absolutely everything!!! Exceptional venue, very clean, friendly, central to many restaurants and venues, and at a reasonable price. Host Alan Smith could not be faulted. Great facilities and a wonderful knowledge of local area. Extremely pleasant owner who was more than helpful. Sorry we could not have stayed longer. the host's were great,and we didn't even know there were other guests on the premises. the host was extremely accommodating and cooked an excellent breakfast. Very homely. Friendly people, attention to detail and nothing was too much trouble. relaxed atmosphere the hosts where lovely breakfast was great. Wonderful hospitality, delicious breakfast. Very nice place!. Ideal for overnight stay, quite, friendly and comfortable. the owner is very welcoming good shower great breakfast. The owners and their hospitality was first class. Very friendly host!. Walking through the house to reach our bedroom seemed a little uncomfortable!. We were only there a week but would have loved to have stayed longer. Nothing much. We did feel a little bit like we were intruding, as our twin bedroom was located in the middle of their home (or so it seemed), and it wasn't very big, but in all fairness, that was the only thing negative. No dislikes. We can't find faults on this establishment. Bedroom a little cluttered with nic nacs. cant really fault it. Nothing. nothing. Very tiny thing. The cleaner in the toilet smelt awful and we couldn't get rid of it even with the door closed. A different brand would help! But honestly a tiny thing!. Was only there for one night so didn't get the full opportunity to inspect the grounds and enjoy more of the hospitality. Nothing. Would have liked to stay longer . could have free wifi in the rooms.
