Built in 1879, the lovingly restored Kurrajong House offers elegantly decorated rooms, free WiFi and free breakfast. Guests have access to a sunny terrace and lovely gardens. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator, and a bathroom with free toiletries. The King Rooms are located in the main house and offer access to the after-hours guest lounge, while the Queen Rooms are located have a private entrance from the courtyard. Your breakfast includes eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms and tomatoes, and your choice of cereal, yoghurt, juice and toast. Kurrajong House Bed and Breakfast Launceston is 15 minutes’ walk from the Tamar River and Aurora Stadium. Launceston Airport is 15 minutes' drive away. There are a number of restaurants and cafés within a 5-minute walk.

We had a wonderful stay at Kurrajong and would definitely stay here again. We stayed in the Benjamin room and were very happy, tastefully decorated and with attention to detail this room was lovely. The hosts Graeme and Julie were very friendly and helpful, we were greeted with a handshake and given a map of the local area. Parking right outside was important to us so that was a plus. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, the homemade raspberry jam was absolutely wonderful, thanks to Ju.
kaikki arvostelut » Julie and graham were fantastic hosts. Graham cooks a wonderful breakfast and there are penty of other options available too (although we stuck to the yummy cooked breaky). The rooms are lovely and comfortable. Julie actually contact us before our trip asking if we wanted to change to the bigger Campbell room (for a small increase in price), which we accepted (and glad we did). Julie offered suggestions on paces to see in and around launceston and gave us some driving maps too, which was grea. Kurrajong House is a beautiful old house reasonably close to city facilities. The hosts Julie and Graeme are delightful and made all guests at breakfast particularly feel at ease (it's a shared table). The breakfast was very good and the cooked breakfast delicious. The room I used was beautifully clean, light and airy and had a good sized bathroom with the best shower ever. Everything is excellent. Both hosts are warm, friendly and helpful. Beautiful house, rooms and garden with lots of rose. Thank you and I certainly will recommend it to anybody who is looking for a good B&B in Launceston. Everything was fantastic. Would stay there again if travelling to Launceston. Clost to city centre, fabulous room, comfortable, friendly hosts, great breakfast, quiet, and relaxing. Couldn't Have been look after any better. The house is amazing... Intimate, beautifully appointed and comfortable accommodation. Friendly staff comfortable rook great location. Absolutely everything. located in a luxury residential area. charming English style decor. Nothing, all was perfect. Very difficult to find any fault. Maybe a more robust muesli and espresso coffee would help with the breakfast and guests need to be prepared for a bit of walk (very pleasant mind you!) to restaurants if they don't have a car. Can't think of anything. Bathroom tiles were very cold under foot. Nothing to dislike. Not one thing. Nothing-all good. We stayed in perfect weather but some rooms do not appear to be air conditioned, could be an issue in a hot spell. the double bed is a bit small and too soft. no restaurant nearby.
