Close to footy grounds the Barricks movie/shopping precinct. Comfortable and excellant Restaurant actually one of the best I have eaten at in Brisbane, great breaky, coffee shop and pool area. I would defiantely go back.

  We stayed in an apartment facing the road with river views on the second storey. Nice big balcony and no road noise inside with doors closed. A very comfortable, nice sized apartment for our four day stay. Good supplies and restaurants in close walking distance, excellent on site parking and easy access in all directions. With the refurbished apartments and the completion of the proposed new ferry - I loved it's location in Park Road next to the restaurants- great for Sunday breakfast. And it was lovely having a river view from the balcony- very relaxing sitting there with a coffee. I also liked the interior design- where the front doors overlook the lobby.

  On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. Carparking was easy - a fee of $35 but we already knew about that so it was not a surprise. Still reasonable for inner city secure parking. The room itself was just lovely. Clean and new, modern and well decorated, I could find no fault.   Firstly as I was travelling with a friend - it was far more comfortable for us to have an apartment with a bedroom/bathroom each and enjoy the larger lounge area together and cook if we wanted to in our kitchen. Far more cost effective than 2 small rooms in a big Hotel! We walked with ease - Deceiving at first as the door to my room was off one of the carpark levels (I was only on level 2). But open the door to a wonderful surprise - a huge long apartment with good bed, full size dining table, full size fridge, oven, cooktop, smallish lounge area with decent size tv and a large outdoor patio area with dining set and sliding doors to block out the nearby traffic.

Great location close to South Brisbane rail station with direct line to airport. 10 minute walk to centre of Brisbane and 5 min walk from southbank and cultural centre where there are numerous great restaurants. 15 minute easy walk to Suncorp stadium. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast at the recommended street cafe was vast and best value I had in whole 3 week trip. Although this isn't in centre of Brisbane it is ideally located.
