Do not stay anywhere else!!
This is the perfection place to stay. Broadbeach is a real upmarket place with plenty of bars and restaurants. It is more low key and not as commercial as Surfers, which really suited us. Surfers is only a 30 minute walk along the beautiful beach. The staff at the Meriton are excellent. They helped with all our queries and booking trips and excursions. A lovely retro-styled hotel,excellent location if you are flying out of the Gold Coast airport (the room fee includes a free airport transfer). I like the hassle and stress free convenience that the hotel offered. They even have pillow options which was tremendously helps deep slumber especially for yound children. We had a superior ocean view room on 22nd floor. Excellent view but a bit windy so the balcony didn't get a lot of use. Apartment was excellent. Very clean, quiet and comfortable.
Staff were extremely helpful and attentive and sorted any minor problems we had.

Amazing stay! During our 6 week trip to Australia we stayed here on 3
separate occasions and each time we couldnt fault the service. The staff
were superb, Layla, Kim and Marcus. Each time we returned there was a
bottle of wine and chocs waiting in the room to welcome us back and the
rooms/apartments were of a very high standard. I would definitely
recommend staying here if you visit the Gold Coast.
