I loved the friendly greeting we received at the reception desk and how eager she was to help us out. We were there for the Gold Coast 600 and needed somewhere to park so they said we could park there for as long as we needed. But once we got their the lovely lady at the reception desk let us know our room was already clean so we got a complimentary early check in as well. The pool is absolutely beautiful and our room was not only comfortable but gorgeous as well!.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable with everything that we needed. love the balcony view over the river,absolutely beautiful. Close to CBD, 5min walk to beach & shops. Good location is all this place has too offer. I didn't like that the rooms weren't serviced daily as we were there for 4 nights without fresh complimentary towels. Our room had a washer and drier but no cleaning products. We also had to do our own dishes before we left (which I would normally do anyway) but there was no detergent or tea towel supplied. Rooms are a bit tired, could do with a sprouce up. Small tv. Reduction of the spar pool temperature to tepid at best. Was great for the start of our stay. Floor was very sticky. The cleaner must reduce the detergent while moping the floor. Mixing too much detergent in the water result in sticking. The washin machine was filthy. When i checked the filter, it was black and full with fluff and hairs. The fact that the staff did not tell us that the restaurant and bar was closed! We would not have booked the apartments for us and another couple if we had known as we came over from England and they drove over 7 hours to come to see us from Bundaberg, and all we ended up eating was crisps as my husband could not walk to get out due to his condition. the room was absolutely discusting .the lounge was filthy.the floors were discusting and sticky.there were no dish cloths.no detergent.no soap .the carpet hadnt been vaccumed.the glass doors all sticky and full of finger prints.overall I think you need to employ new cleaners. The bed was a bit hard and the room could do with a bit of an update. Staff wernt too friendly or accomadating , deposit was over the top , felt like a backpackers hostel .... No value for money ! Won't be visiting the island from hell AGAIN !!!!!.
