Well-located, good size rooms, decent breakfast, good wifi. We also very much appreciated the fact that we were given a discount because the car park was full overnight and we had to park on the street; it wasn't the staff's fault - there were actually enough parking spaces, but some inconsiderate drivers took up more than their allotted spaces. Staff really nice and helpful. Happy to look after luggage and full of suggestions for getting around Geelong. I would recommend this place to stay as it's comfortable and convenient.

I liked the proximity to Simonds Stadium. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and modern. Nice to have a flat screen TV & Foxtel. Proximity to city and bus services. Modern decor. Very clean . Availiability of early check-in and late check-out. Very friendly staff. Personalised service by staff. They remembered our previous visit last year. Very pleasant & reasonably priced full breakfast. Would recomend to anyone close to city and railway station , good service and nice clean rooms .Enjoyed our stay ,. close to St John of God Hospital.a good breakfast.no noise from passing traffic(unit was away from the road). Friendly & helpful service, within walking distance to city centre, clean & well-maintained room. The owners and staff are most pleasant. Breakfast was excellent and again the staff very professional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Any thing we needed they were there to help. Main road a bit noisy, better to get a room not facing McKIllop St. as you need to have the window open for ventilation otherwise the room got stuffy. rooms were quite noisy with noise from adjoining rooms. All rooms had adjoining doors which obviously accentuated this. Relatively expensive for what a relatively basic room. I would have liked some "cakes" of soap and shampoo, rather than a dispenser. I also think that chips, etc should have been available in the rooms, rather than having to ask for them at reception. The restaurant looked very nice, but it was booked out for a function. Parking a bit tight, risk of damage getting in & out of a couple of tight corners. difficulty in filling the electric jug. The bed was too hard and so were the pillows!. The rooms certainly need an upgrade.Minimising soaps,shampoos etc came as a surprise. Smoking designations outside of the units is unacceptable. Mosquitoes in the room. didnt like the fact that there was no bbq..when staying for a few days like we did, we would have prefered bbq dinners rather than going out to eat all the time. -noise of traffic. parking a little tight. Noise from wheeled suitcases upstairs. 10 am check out. First floor room!. n/a. No shampoo/conditioner supplied?. For the cost it would have been lovely to have breakfast included as I know another best western motel included in Geelong. window rattled during the night. Early checkout on a weekend. the hoons racing outside people taking 3 hours to pack after 1am. nothing. We were disappointed because there was an electrical power problem and we were left with no electricity from 7.30pm to 10.00pm, the time in which we had planned to relax in the room. In addition, the function going on in the restaurant on the property at that time caused a lot of unpleasant noise, screaming, music and the emptying of glass into large bins by the restaurant staff. On the whole it was not a pleasant stay.
