Friendly reception. Recently renovated room. The renovation has been done really well. This shows what a modern motel can be like with good contemporary design. Great bed. Curtains that black out the room when you want. A peaceful outlook. A little outdoor terrace on which to sit and read. The motel is set a block away from the main road into Canberra (Northbourne Avenue), and is nice and quiet. We'll stay here again.
kaikki arvostelut » Easily accessible location, directly from major roads - very quiet location with a park across the road with walking track around it. Very pleasant residential area nearby. Room was very neat, clean and had everything required for a night stopover or week long stay. Breakfast provided if desired, or you could provide your own meals if required. I loved the fact that check in was so easy after I had already paid online... And that after running the Half-Marathon they cleaning people let me back into my room for a quick shower when I returned to get my car, even when I hadn't asked for a late check out!!! Fantastic staff... The Red Cedars Motel was very clean and comfortable with microwave and toaster and kettle.The receptionist was very helpful.The motel is on the bus route into Canberra town centre so you don't have to use your car if you just want go into the town. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was brought to our room so we could get on with our day. The bus line is conveniently just outside the hotel making parking a non- issue in Canberra. We were able to leave our car for the day after we checked out which was great and unexpected. The friendly welcome was most appreciated. The room was attractive and the open rural view was lovely. Ease of access to the motel and quietness were added bonuses. We would certainly stay at Red Cedars again. Clean and surprisingly luxurious for the price. Excellent beds and linen and facilities like microwave and Kettle as well as some crockery/cutlery. Also very quiet at night. car parking close to rooms, staff fridendy, close to the city without been too far out, reasonable prices. Friendly and efficient service at reception. Very comfortable bed. All modern appliances, etc. Reasonable price, well located for our purpose, clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. For one night, found room clean, comfortable, handy to what we were in Canberra for. Location was very convenient for us. Well appointed with full kitchen facilities. Very welcoming staff, able to prepare own meal in kitchenette. every thing was very good for us the position was excellent. The beds were comfortable. The balcony was an added bonus. It has quite large rooms and good kitchen facilities. The motel is quiet at night and is clean and modern. location and the peaceable and neat sorroundings. Good value accommodation in a quiet location. Microwave, toaster, plates & cutlery. It was quiet and easy to find. Friendly, helpful people. The comfortable beds. Well set up room. all good. We had a small kitchenette with cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. We were able to cook a simple meal which helped us with our budget. It was reasonable accommodation for a one night stay. Proximity to venue we needed to attend. Availability. Everywhere else was full. Clean. not much I have to say - won't be staying there again. Shame there wasn't a sink in the kitchenette we had to use bathroom sink to rinse plates. only a minor little thing, there should have been a curtin in the shower recess, water was getting on the floor outside of it. There was an old settee outside my room which only encouraged guests to sit around in the early morning after a big night out!. Costs had already been deducted from my Credit Card before we got there. I thought it would be for security purposes only. Would like exhaust fan in bathroom. Bedside lamps a bit low when reading. could only stay 2 nights, due to commitments. The facilities for eating were good except there were no bowls for cereal. Not a deal breaker though. Nothing. We have stayed there before and our booking included queen size beds. This time they were double beds and we too small for comfort. Next booking would have to guarantee queen size beds or I would stay elsewhere. cold bed lacking electric blankets after a long drive from warmer climate. Some Grouting in shower mouldy. N/a. Nothing. Workers stay at motel and talk outside to the early hours, Seemed like a regular thing so there was no point complaining. nothing. There was uncleaned dust and grime on areas not easily seen, eg on top of brick walls in shower walls. Bathroom door in disrepair and dead cockroach caught in bathroom light fitting. Decor very tired, location out of town, no wifi. Poor support from Staff Crowded room due to extra bed not required No telephone. booking was unclear as to whether kids included or not no hot water at peak times said they could accomodate late check-out and then didn't.
