We initially had a street facing room which was loud but not unbearable, especially later on in the evening. Staff at the hotel did offer us earplugs if we needed them. uphill; it is about 3 blocks of moderate incline but there are different
routes that can minimize the uphill walk. The hotel is very nice and

rooms on the 22nd floor and the view over the city and the bay was
superb. The hotel a bus stop that takes you directly to Fisherman's
wharf or in the other direction is the terminus for the cable car.
