  I always stay here when in San Francisco. It's a great location and I always feel safe and comfortable. There's breakfast and the staff is very nice. We initially had a street facing room which was loud but not unbearable, especially later on in the evening. Staff at the hotel did offer us earplugs if we needed them.   I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in mid November. I have seen people raise there eyebrows when they learn this hotel is situated in Tenderloin area (which is considered a bit shady area). I too was reluctant to stay there but post my stay I experienced that it was not that badly located.
