  We are a young couple with an infant from Maryland. We wanted to get away from the busy city life- Cannan Village Inn provided just that break. Way back in the country, surrounded by Mountains, big green lawn where my baby ran around, and beautiful fall colors - we wish we stayed longer. The store across the street was open 24/7 and had everything... was die leute sagen » you could possibly need. Had a subway too!. We drove around and watched fall colors, went to Blackwater falls, visited the coffee shop in Davis. You - The owners were very friendly, accommodating of our needs, and great to talk with. The room was completely comfortable and kept clean daily. We appreciated the amenities of a refrigerator and microwave oven in the room and an ice machine down the hall. There is a 24-hour convenience store and gas station across the road, which is a rare commodity in the mountains of West Virginia. It's only a 10 to 15-minute drive to Davis and Thomas, two charming and accommodating towns with good restaurants,
