  I loved the front desk gentleman who worked nights. His name is Markus. Your wifi system is very poor, unfortunately, and Markus had to deal with many many calls all night about the weak signal. He never lost his cool and was patient with everyone! He even came to my room to see if he could get the wifi to work. The fridge was a plus, big screen tv great and the pool was in really good condition. The temperature of the pool was really good. Air conditioning was working great.   Good motel in a convenient location. The rooms are a good size and, although basic in decor, very clean. The bathroom and bedroom were spotless, the pool clean. Breakfast is basic, but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. Overal very happy and would be happy to stay again. - Spacious, clean and reasonably modern unit with large double bed (took me two days to find my wife!) bathroom a bit smal but clean and modern. Excellent breakfast even the bread had taste rather than the usual tasteless cardboard taste. Good orange juice and all day Starbucks coffee. Close to town and the Arches np. Would highly recommend

  We came in the off season, so our experience may have been a bit different than some of the other reviewers. It was so much the off season that most of the hotel's restaurants were even closed (including this one) so I didn't really get to use much in terms of amenities, etc. But the staff was very helpful finding us somewhere close by to eat. The room was very larg - We were pleasantly surprised about how close to the entrance of Bryce Canyon this motel was. It is just down the street and around the corner from the entrance gates. Our room was clean, but showed definite wear on the furniture. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed a very nice night's rest! We used the pool, which the kids loved! It is a small pool that could use some new paint, but our kids had a blast so we were happy! Overall, a well-kept small town place to stay!

  It was very nice and clean and the staff is very accommodating: Will stay here every time from now on for our in-between spot while we drive through to California - There's a lot to do around the area. Many restaurants and shops within just a short walk. Room was just as described: clean and comfortable.

  Everything. Very nice lobby. Friendly and helpful young man took care of us at check-in. I dont know how old this place is but it seems as though it was just finished. Everything appeared new. If you are going to visit bryce - Tropic is a small town with a few hotels, restaurants and a general store on the way to or from Bryce NP. So you can't expect too much. Don't be put off by the exterior of the accommodation block, the rooms are relatively spacious and modern, clean and have all of the facilities you would expect. If Tropic is a convenient stopping place on your travels, then we would recommend this hotel.
