  My husband and I stayed at this hotel with the intent of just having a place to crash on our vacation further north. What a pleasant surprise! Rooms were clean, staff was very accommodating, and the breakfast was amazing! It was the best continental breakfast we have ever had.   My room was great; the bed was comfortable and clean. The size of the room was fabulous with lots space between the beds and within the room itself. Having the bathroom at the back of the room and a door to separate the shower and toilet from the rest of the area was wonderful!   It was very nice and clean and the staff is very accommodating: Will stay here every time from now on for our in-between spot while we drive through to California - There's a lot to do around the area. Many restaurants and shops within just a short walk. Room was just as described: clean and comfortable.

I dont know how old this place is but it seems as though it was just finished. Everything appeared new. If you are going to visit bryce - Tropic is a small town with a few hotels, restaurants and a general store on the way to or from Bryce NP. So you can't expect too much. Don't be put off by the exterior of the accommodation block, the rooms are relatively spacious and modern, clean and have all of the facilities you would expect. If Tropic is a convenient stopping place on your travels, then we would recommend this hotel.
