  I loved the history of the hotel. It's not like the huge hotels on the island, but it is romantic in that it kind of takes you back in time. Parking was good even though others took advantage of parking along the perimeters of the lot. Hotel staff curule ensure tat people did not park in the thoroughfare of the exit of the parking lot.

The bathrooms are very large, great for relaxing after the airplane flight. The grounds are large with good views of the local countryside. Quiet and private. For those who want spacious accommodations, this is a certainly a location to consider. Parking is easy and location is less than a mile to many shops. Good location for arriving and departing Big Island; the airport is about 40 minutes away by car on good roads.
