Plenty to do close to the hotel. Price was right. Really enjoyed my stay and will stay again if the opportunity arises.

  My nephews enjoyed the swimming pool, it was clean and well lit. The rooms were clean and the fridge and microwave was an added convenience. The breakfast was excellent, waffles, sausage, eggs and cereal, milk and juice, everybody was happy. I will stay here again if I go back to Dallas. The price was reasonable and service was great.   We were just several blocks from downtown, on the city bus route. City bus fares are excellent in San Antonio for seniors. It was also just 4 blocks from the Amtack station. The neighborhood is on a fringe area but we (2 men) felt safe.   Very nice hotel with a good selection for breakfast and outdoor pool and very nice tidy and clean rooms. The staff were very helpful. Be aware though that adding a bed to some of the rooms can be a little difficult and leaves the room cramped, but in this part of the world you do not want to be in your room any more than to sleep.   It was clean. The pillows were excellent!!! I thought about stuffing one in my purse. :) The fridge was excellent to store our food in and the microwave was very convenient. Great to have that in the room without paying extra for it.   We decided to extend our weekend trip last minute but were unable to afford another night at the hotel we'd stayed in the night before. it was great to find a good hotel at a great price on such short notice.
