  We needed a short get away and Riverstone was perfect. We were able to lay by the pool while we waited on our room to be ready and having a full kitchen gave us the ability to cook supper in, relax and watch the Masters Golf tournament. Didn't get to take advantage of the spa but it looked wonderful and the gold course was beautiful. We will stay ... was die leute sagen » here again- next time with kids! - I enjoyed the fact that the pool and game room were open for 24 hours. Other resorts/hotels close at ten or eleven at night and if your family is out sightseeing each day, your children are always disappointed that they can't swim. The 24 hour pool solved that problem!

  I liked everything. The room was spacious, clean and was right on a river. It was also right behind the parkway where there was plenty of shopping and places to eat. It is also right behind all the Ripley's attractions and next door to the Ripley's Aquarium. We were able to walk to everything which was great because we didn't have to load up and u... was die leute sagen » nload kids from the car. The price was very family friendly. I would stay here again. I just recommend calling the hotel to make sure you are getting - I enjoyed the fact that they had given us an upgrade on our reservation. My fiancé and I loved the proximity to Gatlinburg's main strip and that we weren't forced to pay for parking. Everything was within walking distance from the hotel. Even though we stayed during the weekend, we felt that we had our privacy and didn't notice any commotion. We will definitely come back to River Terrace.

  Loved the location and the fact that we were in the mountains. The location was great--just a few miles outside of Gatlinburg and not very far to all the sites and attractions of Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. The staff went out of their way to see that we had what we needed, including a waitress and chef that more than accommodated my special reques... was die leute sagen » ts needed for dietary purposes. Lots to do just on the resort grounds so you don't even have to wander off property if you just want to relax. - We like that we could visit here & had all we needed right on spot, didn't have to bring anything from town. We like that as a couple we were able to go out that evening & enjoy other couples socializing at the bar & had the restaurant on site. We also like that when we decide to come back we can also bring our daughter & she will be occupied with activities to do for her own age. Beautiful place, loved it, can't wait to come back!
