we are in our 80's she was offering us a room on the first floor so
we would not have to worry with elevators but we chose to be higher so
we could use the balcony and watch the ocean. She let us go and look at

After spending one night listening to dogs barking and whining we requested to be moved to another room and a wonderful room was found for us on the 5th floor of another building. This was our first time at Springmaid Resort. It was a very pleasurable stay. The accomdations were all that we could have asked for. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. They made us feel that they truly cared that we had a good experience at their resort. The view from our room was exactly what we were in Myrtle Beach for. I will recomend Springmaid Resort to my friends and look forward to visiting again.

Kingston Plantation is an enclosed community so after buying groceries we never had to leave if we didn't want to. letsbookhotel.com also had some of the lowest prices on a 2 bedroom condo at Kingston which was needed with 2 teen girls in tow. -

This is a refurbished fort. The building is fascinating. The atrium where the rooms are is open and beautiful. Our room was typical Embassy Suite. The hotel is on the same block as Rue 99, Coast and Virginia's on King, three great restaurants. We would definitely stay there again. -

The hotel's main pluses are that it is an affordable, comfortable, clean hotel in peninsular Charleston, and it has parking.Some of the staff truly went out of their way to make your stay a good one. Breakfast, though nothing special, was well-stocked and adequate. All-in-all, a good deal for what you pay and a decent place to stay. -
