  1) Handiness to national park(s) & historic district (most of "old towne Gettysburg), unique restaurants, and related- theme shopping. 2) Reasonable price for a prime location--within block of major portion of Gettysburg National park. 3) Older facilities but well kept up. 4) Ability to park at room door. I'm disabled, so it was great no... was die leute sagen » t to have to walk long corridors. 5) Nice indoor & outdoor pools (although I didn't have time to try them out). 6) Clean, clean, bathroom faciliti - Location!! Literally right next to the edge of the day 3 battlefields, the cemetery and very close to the visitors center. It is also close to the town center-easily walkable. Rooms were clean. Nothing fancy. A bit outdated but clean and comfortable. Pool was nice for a quick dip-all that is needed. After all one doesn't go to Gettysburg to lounge by the pool all day. :) Breakfast was good-in an old house on the property. Typical "breakfast included" fare. We would definitely stay here again

  the village condo was good - we were able to eat meals home when we wanted - we had a good amount of room and we were very comfortable - plenty of room for a family of 4. Bedrooms upstairs, kids had their own room and beds.
