  This stay was primarily used to have a hot shower in the AM. I am in Durham everyday commuted from Harnett county, but had a shutdown scheduled for Tuesday at 4AM. Rather that drive back home only to go straight to bed to be able to be on site at 3:30AM, I opted to stay in Durham and had intended to just catch a few winks in my trailer and 'bird b... was die leute sagen » ath it'. But fortunately Brookwood offered a rate and location that made it a 'no brainer' to book a room. This allowed me to sleep comfortably and ha - My first night there, my airconditioner did not work. I reported it the next morning, when I returned that day, a brand new wall unit had been placed. They fixed the problem quickly, efficiently, and with a smile. I have to return next month for two more weeks of training. I know where I will be staying! Thank you Brookwood Inn!

  The staff went out of their way to accommodate our late check in and we were even able to grab a bite to eat.   The coffee maker did not heat the water. A replacement was given which also didn't heat the water. Power was out when we arrived. Came back on within 30-45 minutes. When asked about ice we were told the icemaker was broken (however, it turns out it was because the power was off). The room also had a small fridge and a microwave. We enjoyed the availability of fresh tea and coffee 24/7 and the breakfast bar. We extended our stay and the staff allowed at at the same rate...but forgot to OK our keys...no big deal. The staff also helped with a short cut into town. I give the staff hig grades
