  Loved the atmosphere on the grounds with the open-air lobby and tropical landscaping. The on-site restaurant had excellent food and a view of the pool and ocean. It was a really nice touc - We liked how close we were to the beach. I left my sliding glass door open all night so I could hear the ocean. Very soothing. There are a lot of places to stay on Maui, I feel that I stayed in the best location!! Easy to get in and out. Hwy 30 just down the street. The staff made it extremely easy to come and go. They weren't pushy, but available when you needed them.

We felt at home and the unit provided everything that we needed. We loved that Mahana had the Expedio desk with the helpful Susan Ramos who assisted us in planning our tours. The Mahana is just 5-7 mins walk to the supermarket which is a plus and is just near the shuttle bus stop.
