  Beautiful grounds, sweet little pond with nice landscaping. Cabins are cute, comfortable and well stocked for cooking. Off the beaten track--in the woods, nice neighborhood for walking.   Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Wonderfully spacious with a great view of the river. The staff was friendly and ever so helpful with allowing us to store our luggage after checkout and before our departure. The information on the area was easily available for all the restaurants in the area and the different sight seeing tours. The continental breakfast was just right and was even able to wash a load of laun - People in Alaska were very friendly, but here was awesome! We stayed in May 2013. The best room we had in our trip. We felt like home, (even better!). I still remember the chocolate muffins. Thanks a lot for a piece of peace in a crazy and 24 hour round clock trip in Alaska.

  A perfect hotel for Juneau! My wife and I were a little nervous when we booked it as the description and the pictures of the hotel didn't quite fit with the price. Upon arrival we found it to be exactly what we were looking for! It is an old building and has all the charm and class that turn of the century buildings have. Loved the room and the quirkiness of the setting. Gr - The room was very clean and also nicely decorated. The bathroom was very nice size with a great bathtub. I loved having the balth salts. The food was great, and the breakfast that came with the room was excellent.The recomendations for food outside the Silverbow were spot on. Location was great. Staff were very nice and helpful. The photos in the dining area were great-they made me want to see more of Alaska.

  Room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable which was very important. The staff were very accomodating to my requests. Late check in process was very easy! It definately felt like cabin in the woods, but with modern comforts. The cabin was clean, beautiful furniture, bed was comfortable, had a refrigerator and microwave. Just a short walk down to the creek where salmon were jumping. It was, by far, the best place we stayed during our trip to Alaska.

  We had a delightful stay at Summit Lake Lodge with among the most friendly proprietors we have encountered. We stayed in a cabin which was an ideal mixture of updates and Alaskan charm, tucked away in the trees surrounding Summit Lake.
