  Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Wonderfully spacious with a great view of the river. The staff was friendly and ever so helpful with allowing us to store our luggage after checkout and before our departure. The information on the area was easily available for all the restaurants in the area and the different sight seeing tours. The continental breakfast was just right and was even able to wash a load of laun - People in Alaska were very friendly, but here was awesome! We stayed in May 2013. The best room we had in our trip. We felt like home, (even better!). I still remember the chocolate muffins. Thanks a lot for a piece of peace in a crazy and 24 hour round clock trip in Alaska.

  A perfect hotel for Juneau! My wife and I were a little nervous when we booked it as the description and the pictures of the hotel didn't quite fit with the price. Upon arrival we found it to be exactly what we were looking for! It is an old building and has all the charm and class that turn of the century buildings have. Loved the room and the quirkiness of the setting. Gr - The room was very clean and also nicely decorated. The bathroom was very nice size with a great bathtub. I loved having the balth salts. The food was great, and the breakfast that came with the room was excellent.The recomendations for food outside the Silverbow were spot on. Location was great. Staff were very nice and helpful. The photos in the dining area were great-they made me want to see more of Alaska.

  We had a delightful stay at Summit Lake Lodge with among the most friendly proprietors we have encountered. We stayed in a cabin which was an ideal mixture of updates and Alaskan charm, tucked away in the trees surrounding Summit Lake. We couldn't have been more delighted with our stay and wished we ha - My husband and I stayed overnight at the Summit Lake Lodge, and we both greatly enjoyed the experience. The cabins are very comfortable and well decorated with careful attention paid to small details that make the cabins feel so "homey". The owners and staff are warm and personable and really go the extra mile to take care of the guests. The breakfast that is included in the price is fantastic. The mountain setting is beautiful, and we enjoyed kayaking in the adjacent lake. We highly recommend
