convience as was close to down town gig harbor and close to the church we were visiting. there was a hand made afagan on our bed that was nice to have on my legs while sitting on the bed to watch tv.the internet connection for my lap top was easy to use.the person who checked us in was friendly.when we made the reservation on the internet about 5 min later it was confirmed with a friendly phone call.very nice touch!!. alle bewertungen »
Staff was excellent. On last day, we were out sightseeing & received
a call from the hotel. The maid while cleaning, noticed the air
conditioner not working. They called us right away and offered to move
us to unit that was working & upgrade our room. While this is an
older hotel, they have done alot to make it comfortable and homey.
My adult son and I liked our quiet suite with separate bedrooms and a full kitchen. We cooked our own breakfasts, attended a family wedding in Gig Harbor nearby and drove around sight-seeing. The economical price suited me.
We loved this hotel for it's home friendly feeling. We also loved all the people that brought their beautiful dogs. It was a home away from home and the suites are huge!.
Location was fantastic for my purposes. The folks running the place were enjoyable to talk with and helpful.

The location fit our needs. The master bedroom was very nice. The twin bed in the living room were comfortable.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Would have liked a larger coffee pot. We had to make two pots because of
the 4 cup size. This was in a room with a full kitchen. Also the tv was
very small and old.
The "remains" of once used dispensers on wall and tub in bath.
No lamp on table.
The lack of a really comfortable chair.
Very old, unattractive decor. Needs new curtains, carpet, tile,
everything.

letsbookhotel.com placed it 15 to 17 miles from SeaTac airport. That may be the straight line distance. You have to drive around 35 miles to get there: down to Tacoma and then across the Tacoma Narrows bridge over Puget Sound. We did not expect to travel so far. That needs to be fixed.
Bed was very uncomfortable, to hard.
A little rundown, needs some updating. Could use a pool.
No Smoking room, smelled like smoking had taken place.
No air conditioning.
Bathtub not cleaned completely- found soap scum and hair.
Kitchen towels smelled musty
Not enough glassware and coffee mugs ( 2 each for 5 people)
No wine glasses or corkscrew
No paper towels in kitchen .
Loud and inefficient AC
Dirty dish drainer
Worn chairs outdoors and on alley sitting areas
Smoking in hallway sitting areas by staff
Dirty laundry facilities.
The rooms need either major cleaning or painting. The floors and rug looked very past due for cleaning.
It was not so clean.
There were dead insects in the edges of the carpet.
Window frames were very dirty. They needed to be vacuumed and wiped. A black layer on the frame was very noticeable looking like black mold. That should be inspected as it could be a health hazard. My room was 107.
Also the table covercloth was very dirty with huge fresh stains. I had asked a replacement.
