  The room was spotless! The owners obliviously go to great lengths to maintain their facility. I liked that the room had a refrigerator and microwave and a flat screen TV. Coffee provided in the morning was appreciated. Also the WIFI worked GREAT!. - Great home base for hiking, biking, paddling in the northwoods.   A friend & I (both in our sixties) spent 5 nights. Wonderful place to stay. Had the deluxe queen. Really appreciated 2 sinks, the balcony, & having a couch. We were up there reminiscing from the yrs. We spent with our husbands, kids & babysitters renting cottages on Big Arbor Vitae Lake. Loved the Minocqua shops, the water ski show, Th... was die leute sagen » irsty Whale & Bloody Mary's at PoleCat & Lace - so glad to see that the shops downtown Minocqua are the same. Side trips to Boulder Junction, - The Waters of Minocqua is a smaller, modern homage to the grand log lodges like the legendary ones at Yellowstone or at Glacier National Park. Our comfortable double Queen room was nicely equipped with flat screen TV, microwave and small 'frig, coffee maker, small table & chairs, adequate lighting, and basic bath/shower/BR. We arrived late at night but were nonetheless pleasantly greeted by the desk clerk. Our ground floor room was ready and the halls were quiet (on a Tues night.) Breakfast
