We were lucky enough to receive a complimentary upgrade from studio to 1 br. The apartment was big, with top quality washer / dryer and full kitchen. So much better value than a hotel. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in with top quality linens and very good toiletries. Wi-fI is super hi-speed.   As I had to vacate my home for renovations I was pretty tired the first night I checked in my room made a noise..they gladly moved me to a smaller room ( only room available) and discounted it. The following day they upgraded me to Villa # 55. from here on the stay was great............would have loved to have stayed longer. Restaurant food was good and amnience made me feel like I could be in mexico - Still has the rock star vibe. We were lucky to enjoy a 'Live at the Sunset Marquis' summer concert by the pool during our stay. Magical! We took our children for breakfast to Mel's Diner on Sunset Av. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance.

I couldn't believe that this room is just a regular room of theirs. I cant even imagine what the suite looks like!

  We love the friendly atmosphere and the references to early Hollywood films and actors! The staff were all friendly and very responsive to our needs and requests. When we needed anything, such as a bathmat or the sink unclogged, they were there immediately!   How could we not love our spectacular suite! Although our luxury King room on the 19th floor with views over the Hollywood hills was lovely and we would stay in this room type again, we upgraded to the breathtaking 2100 sq foot "panorama suite" on the 20th floor with a 270 degree panoramic view of the entire city and the beautiful Hollywood Hills.... was die leute sagen » The staff was absolutely wonderful from check in to check out and all encounters in between. Manager Steven was the crowning jewel amongst the staff - 1. We initially booked the deluxe double room however it was quite cramp and small. The next day we upgraded to a Junior suite which had a king size bed and a sofa bed (queen size probably?) which was very spacious. 2. Located in the heart of Hollywood. Connected to Hollywood/Highland Centre (one of the best spots to view the Hollywood sign) and right next to the Hollywood/Highland Red Line metro station. One metro stop from Universal City and a very short walk to the star walk, TCL theatre etc
