This hotel has a cozy, warm, Americana style decor with some very nice pieces of furniture and decorations that add to the charm. Breakfast was hearty and very good.   Location was fantastic. We stayed for a visit to a show at the House of Blues near Fenway on St. Patrick's Day. Staying in Cambridge was totally great, avoiding the craziness, but giving us some great pub visits at Tommy Doyles and the Druid in walking distance. I liked the complimentary Valet parking and the fact that the T is located so close to the hotel and it was so easy to get into Boston using the red line. I liked the fact that there is a Starbucks in the lobby. The view of Charles River was beautiful. Overall a wonderful experience. I also liked the fact that check out was at noon!

  The location was excellent, easily walkable to loads of super places around Boston. Didn't have a car so couldn't comment on the parking, but would book if possible as there was very little space nearby. Was greeted warmly by the friendly staff. For the location you'd be hard pressed to find another hotel for anywhere near this sort of price (double - It was great value for the money. We had a room on the top floor with a huge balcony looking out over the city. The room was clean and comfortable with a private bath. There was a microwave and cupboards with dishes. Very convenient. The guest house itself was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. We were able to park our car right behind the guest house in the public alleyway. It is also near to a subway stop.

  Stayed four nights with my two grown up sons in a two bedroom suite. An ideal option that gave us all our own space without needing to have completely separate rooms. We didn't have the best of views but we coped with that! All staff were very attentive and made us feel very special. Quite an expensive hotel but not a lot more expensive than other hotels - think - Unfortunately we arrived just after the bombs had gone off, the staff were on hand immediately to help and reassure us, they were extremely kind and upgraded us to a suite. Maureen booked us in for dinner at a local Restaurant and even sent us over her favourite cocktail while we were having dinner. Room was very comfortable and clean, location was good - will be back!!
