  Excellent staff that seemed to be genuinely interested in making my stay as pleasant as possible. Although still going through a renovation phase, the Lancaster is a well appointed historic hotel with excellent access to Houston's theatre district and good quality restaurants. The room I stayed in was well equipped with bath robes etc., and a very... was die leute sagen » comfortable bed. - The hotel was gorgeous and the staff very helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was a full buffet rather than a continental breakfast. The complimentary shuttle service was fast and the drivers very courteous and helpful. There was a free wine hour in the evening and room service was prompt. This was the very best experience I've ever had at a hotel!

  The Doubletree was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were immaculate, the bed was extremely comfortable and of course we were greeted with warm cookies!
