The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the room clean, well designed and stocked with the right amenities. The location is great for downtown shopping, restaurants and gallery hopping. The room was a decent size, very comfortable for two and very clean. The location was perfect for us - easy to get uptown or downtown. Loved the Italian restaurant in the hotel - great for lunch and a nice outdoor patio. Highly recommended.

We went to celebrate my partners 30th and they help arrange champagne and chocolate Strawberries for our arrival in the room and managed to upgrade us and give us an early check in. The plunge bar was very cool and had some cocktails which were great. When it came to leaving as we wasn't able to get back to ou - Loved the convenience of the drive up and valet, although $50 wa a little expensive. $265 room with 2 lunch salads and 1 small pot of coffee and a bottle of water (room service) and valet put the room charge to $460. Ended up being pretty expensive for one night. We may consider staying again, but more expensive than we expected.

  From the moment we arrived to when we left everything was just perfect. We drove to nyc and we were pleasantly greeted immediately. The staff was warm and welcoming. The location is great because the subway is just a block north of the hotel and it is in the heart of a revitalized district of of New York.
