  Loved Chicago from the Navy Pier to the museums,the variety of entertainment, the walk-ability of the city, Millennium park, loved it all. The bed was comfortable, and the bed linens were good quality and soft. The room was nicely furnished except for a strange plastic, snake-skin covered wing back chair. The bathroom was nice, but the vanity is... was die leute sagen » too small to accommodate toiletries well, and there's no where else to set them except in the floor. A table or another place for toiletries would h - Hotel Sax was right in Marina City. There was a little grocery store close by. Several restuarants within walking distance including Chicago's House of Blues and Dick's last resort. I was great to walk just a few steps and look at the Chicago river flowing by. I loved and and will go there again.

  I really liked the location. We were able to walk to several places we wanted to visit, including the Art Institute and the Doughnut Vault. The check-in was quick and easy, and they were nice to suggest some places we should visit when asked. We enjoyed having a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, dishes & cups, coffee pot, and popcorn in the room, in addition to - I can not recommend this Marriott Residence Inn highly enough. The location, the comfort, the price, and, most appreciated, the graciousness and helpfulness of every staff member made the entire five-day stay memorable and enjoyable. I hope to return for leisure rather than business.

  Outstanding stay. Check in was awesome with great assitance from Pedro. Worked with us and got us a great upgrade with river view with only a $14 fee. He was helpful and energetic. Was the most enjouable stay I have had in Chicago and I have stayed in over 2 dozen hotels some 3 times the price. - Everything! This place was a truly pleasant surprise. I booked the smaller room, which was just perfect for 1 person. I loved the 2nd floor club area, with tons of seating, office type space and a fantastic espresso/cappuccino machine. Oddly, my favorite perk was the bottled water available on each floor. Staff were incredibly helpful. I also appreciated the automated check out process from machines in the lobby. Will def. Stay here again, next time in Chicago.

  I loved the comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the room and overall cleanliness of the hotel. The staff, especially at the concierge desk, was very knowledgable and extremely friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and really convenient in the morning before going sightseeing. Had a great variety of food and drink. The staff graciously moved us to another floor when ours became noisy because of high schoolers that were there for some music competition. The breakfast bar was wonderful.   All I have to say is AMAZING!!! Best place we have ever stayed!! Staff were very friendly and answered all questions and concerned promptly! We stayed with 4 young children in a 2 bedroom apt, and it was fantastic! So much better than a regular hotel room! Thank you bridgestreet for the fanta - The hotel was located at 'the loop', where everything happend in Chicago. It was great to have a train station just in front of the hotel. We were there during a cold weather with snow, and to run away from the cold, train is the best and cheapest way to visit the city. The apartment was very complete, for who will ahve a long stay it is perfect to cook and have cheaper meals. My husband and I had breakfast every day there and dinner at the the bars and restaurant close to the hotel.
