  The Dupont Circle provided a special experience from the moment we arrived. The design was contemporary with a touch of luxury but the atmosphere was relaxing and not pompous. The location was perfect for my husband and I and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk to the national monuments (about 30 mins). The location was TERRIFIC. Easy access to Metro. Tons of restos and stores within walking distance. The employees we dealt with were courteous and very responsive. All in all, it was a great place to stay for a long weekend in DC.

The beds are comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly, I had some of the best food in my life at The Front Page Restaurant ($21 breakfast buffet totally worth it) and Henry's Soul Cafe nearby. (Most of) the staff was extremely friendly, especially the girl at the reception who helped us with the check-in. The room and the bathroom have everything you need and even more.   For a city hotel, the room was very large easily accommodating 2 queen size beds along with an easy chair plus ottoman. The bathroom was down a hallway and had a dressing room with a bureau before the door.Khalid helped us with our car and our luggage. Everyone was so friendly. Also it is a 10 minute cab ride to Georgetown. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to DC.

They have called the police, who came to the hotel and at the end of the day, when we arrived to the room, we had a very kind note offering a bottle of wine and some fruit. Three of our party had a massage, and each of us was pleased with the experience. The room was quiet and nicely appointed, although not as luxurious as some other five star hotels we've stayed in.
