  Excellent staff that seemed to be genuinely interested in making my stay as pleasant as possible. Although still going through a renovation phase, the Lancaster is a well appointed historic hotel with excellent access to Houston's theatre district and good quality restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was a full buffet rather than a continental breakfast. The complimentary shuttle service was fast and the drivers very courteous and helpful. The hotel was comfortable and secure and was very close to the Toyota Center and Convention Center. It was within walking distance of several nice restaurants.
