It was right on a babbling brook that was perfect for sleeping. I tried to book a hotel in Rutland/Killington for the Spartan event, but there was none available. Hotel - The Motel 6 Lake George is right in the center of town and you can easily walk to anywhere in the village. We never had to worry about parking. The facilities were clean, simple, and had everything we needed. It is also pet friendly so it was perfect for our small dog. It's was not the cheapest hotel in town, but definitely wasn't the most expensive and was definitely worth the little bit more that you pay.   I really appreciated the staff at Lido motel. They did everything for us to make sure our trip was great! We got to Lido Motel 5 hours early and they gave us 1 out of the 4 rooms we booked so that we can at least get ready and put our stuff. This is a old building, so the walls, doors, ect do have some wear and tear on them and its not going to sparkle like the Holiday Inn, but its clean and a very comfortable stay.
