  Good Friday was the best day of my entire life. Driving up from Kansas we were very kindly greeted upon arrival. Cute room with a fireplace. And a little balcony to over look the mts and a fire pit where people where enjoying their night. Brought out us a congratulations glass of wine while sitting in the jacuzzi. Gave us gr - Well maintained hotel. Extremely friendly staff - allowed me to check in early. Beautiful setting on the river, convenient to Rocky Mtn National Park. Nice, large room with couch in sitting area. Small balcony off the back of the room - made for a nice cross breeze. Fridge in room was nice for keeping snacks and drinks. Nice selection of complimentary snacks and homemade cake in lobby. hope to return again soon.

  We rented one of the two bedroom units and were very happy with our visit. Staff was very helpful and friendly, as were our neighbors. We had one of the rooms that had not been renovated, but it was still clean. Location is great - very close to Estes Park and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Loved the hot tub and HEATED pool - spent a lot of time out there, even though temperatures were in the 60's. - It was an excellent place especially for the price. We were only there for one night so it didn't need to be spacious. We were in town for a wedding and when we traveled to the wedding sight we saw plenty of Elk! We even bought the painting that was on the wall we liked it so much! We live in Virginia but I spent the first 25 years of my life as a Coloradoan and we were very excited to buy a painting with Aspens to add to our Virginia home.

  I would highly recommend Appenzell Inn. The staff was cordial and helpful. The room was recently updated and very much like hotel decor from Switzerland. The indoor pool was super clean, warm, and very enjoyable. We will be returning in the months ahead with family visitors to Estes Park. - I loved EVERYTHING!   We got an upgrade on our room and we just loved it. I think I caould live there if you rented it out monthly. The people were so nice just like being at home. - Great staff. Their restaurant was great. The view was wonderful and the staff was great.

  Great room, great bathroom. The hotel is located just behind a golf course, were several elks live! Every morning (before sunset) they can be found just a few steps from your bedroom door. And also in the sunset. Located from downtown within a short drive. I've been in Estes Park just after the huge flood they faced, and many shops and restaurant... was die leute sagen » s were closed. - Everything was wonderful. the staff was so nice and the facilities were VERY clean. Our room was a little dated (almond colored bathtub) but everything still looked brand new so that didn't bother me a bit. I've stayed in 5 star hotels that were not as clean as this place.

  Views were awesome. The Elk were constant visitors around the property and I got some excellent photos of some very large Elk does and males. When leaving on my last day there, I came out to find a large male just 10 to 15 feet away from the door laying in the snow and watching the does. The full kitchen in the unit was excellent and it was nice having a full size fridge and freezer. It w - Very comfy and cozy. Location was very close to town so we did not have to drive far.
